CAFE & MARKET ACWORTH, DECATUR, & WOODSTOCK, GA

Every neighborhood deserves one room with Parisian manners. Zinnia — a bakery café and market designed by Ashley Schneider, with locations in Acworth, Decatur and Woodstock — supplies it: marble pedestal tables and walnut chairs against a green leather banquette, botanical wallpaper, brass globe chandeliers and a sculptural walnut host stand to receive you.

Every pace, accounted for. The tempo is part of the design. A grab-and-go counter handles the espresso-and-out crowd without breaking the room's spell, and server stations work invisibly behind it.

Down to the plate. Ashley developed Zinnia's identity alongside its interiors — the signage at the door, the logotype, the flatware and plates, even a hand in sourcing and styling the market shelves. Everything a guest sees, touches or takes home belongs to the same idea. It is the sum of its parts, and every part was considered.

Twice over. Doing it once is design; doing it identically in two cities is a system. Both locations were carried from concept through construction to opening with their shared character intact.

Zinnia is part of the hospitality story Ashley brings to the studio's work today.
