Frequently Asked Questions
Working with Ashley & the studio's approach
What makes Luxe Style Studio different from other interior design firms? Luxe Style Studio brings a five-star, hospitality-inspired sensibility to private homes. Founded in 2008 by principal designer Ashley Schneider, the studio approaches each home the way the finest hotels and restaurants are designed — where every room has intention and every detail has a reason. The result is a home that feels considered as a whole, not decorated room by room.
Who is Ashley Schneider? Ashley Schneider is the principal designer and founder of Luxe Style Studio. She has more than 18 years of experience and helped shape design standards for Marriott's Autograph Collection before bringing that hospitality sensibility home to Atlanta's finest residences. She leads the design vision on every project the studio takes on.
Do you work on the whole home, or just individual rooms? The studio specializes in full-service design and is at its best caring for the home as a complete, cohesive whole, where every room speaks the same language and the experience of moving through the home feels seamless. While a design project doesn't have to span the entire house, full-service design begins at a three-room minimum, so there's enough scope to create something considered rather than piecemeal. For smaller needs, procurement is available on its own.
Service areas & what you offer
What areas do you serve? Luxe Style Studio is based in Atlanta and focuses on the city's most sought-after addresses, including Buckhead, Brookhaven, Milton, Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Sandy Springs, Chastain, East Cobb, and Lake Oconee. While these communities are home base, the studio also takes on projects beyond the metro for the right fit, so it's always worth asking if your home is elsewhere.
Do you only design private residences? Private homes are the heart of the studio's work, but Luxe Style Studio also takes on a select number of commercial and hospitality projects each year, drawing on the same hospitality-rooted approach that shapes its residential design.
Do you work on new construction as well as existing homes? Yes. The studio works on both new construction and the thoughtful renovation of existing homes, partnering with the broader project team so the interior vision is woven in throughout, not added at the end.
Do you offer procurement on its own, without full design services? Yes. While full-service design is the heart of what the studio does, Luxe Style Studio also offers procurement on its own, sourcing and supplying furnishings for clients who already have a direction in mind and simply want access to the studio's resources and trade relationships. Because it's separate from the design process, procurement isn't subject to the three-room minimum, making it a more flexible option when a full design engagement isn't what you're after.
What to expect — the process
What is the design process like? The studio guides each project through a clear arc: an in-depth discovery of how you want to live, a concept and design phase, careful curation and sourcing, hands-on project management, and a final installation and styling that culminates in the reveal of your finished home. The intent is for the process to feel calm and considered at every stage.
How involved will I be? The beauty of working with a full-service studio is that you don't have to be. After an in-depth discovery of how you want to live, the studio develops and presents a complete design, then carries it through to completion, keeping you informed with periodic check-ins along the way. You stay updated at every meaningful stage without having to manage the details, the decisions, or the day-to-day — so you can enjoy the result without living in the process.
How long does a project take? Timelines vary with the scope and scale of the home, since a single-room refresh and a full residence are very different undertakings. The studio sets clear expectations early and keeps the project moving on a considered schedule, so you always know where things stand.
Is this the right fit — qualification
Is Luxe Style Studio the right studio for my project? The studio is the right fit for homeowners who see their home as a meaningful, long-term investment and want a fully designed, cohesive result rather than a quick refresh. Clients who value craftsmanship, a considered process, and a home that feels genuinely their own tend to feel most at home here.
What level of investment should I expect? Luxe Style Studio is a full-service luxury design studio, and its residential projects are a significant undertaking — bespoke, fully designed, and cared for from concept through completion. The studio is glad to discuss scope and investment openly and early, so you have a clear picture before any commitment. You can read more about working with the studio on the Working Together page.
How do we get started? The first step is a conversation. Reach out through the Connect page or call the studio, and you'll begin with a discovery of your home, how you live, and what you want it to feel like — the foundation for everything that follows.
