OUR PROCESS
From First Conversation to Final Reveal
A well-designed home is not the result of one inspired moment. It is built through hundreds of connected decisions, made in the right order and carried through with care.
Luxe Style Studio leads each stage—from understanding how you live to developing the design, coordinating the details, and bringing the completed home into place.
A CONSIDERED APPROACH
A Clear Process Creates Room for Better Decisions
The design process should feel structured without feeling rigid. Each stage builds on the one before it, allowing decisions to be considered in context rather than made individually or under pressure.
You will always know what we are working toward, what decisions are approaching, and how each choice supports the finished home.
The goal is not only a beautiful home, but an experience shaped with the attentiveness of exceptional hospitality: needs anticipated, movement considered, decisions coordinated, and every detail ready when you arrive.
FROM IDEA TO INSTALLATION
The Six Stages of a Luxe Style Studio Project
Every project has its own scope, schedule, and architectural considerations. The sequence remains consistent, giving the work a clear foundation while allowing the design itself to remain personal.
01 / DISCOVERY
Understanding the Home and the People Within It
We begin with conversation. Ashley takes time to understand how you live, what is working, what is not, and how you want the completed home to feel.
We also review the project scope, priorities, architecture, timeline, and investment expectations so the design begins with a clear and realistic foundation.
02 / CONCEPT & DIRECTION
The early design establishes the atmosphere and direction of the home before individual selections begin.
This stage may include space planning, initial furniture layouts, architectural ideas, color direction, materials, and visual references that allow the overall experience to be understood as a whole.
Establishing the Vision
03 / DESIGN DEVELOPMENT AND SELECTIONS
Turning the Vision Into Specific Decisions
Once the direction is established, the design becomes increasingly detailed.
We develop layouts, select finishes, lighting, cabinetry, plumbing, furnishings, textiles, rugs, artwork, window treatments, and the other elements required by the project. Each selection is considered in relation to the architecture and the larger design.
Alongside the selections, Ashley develops the interior design intent and coordination drawings appropriate to the project. Depending on the scope, these may include demolition and dimensioned floor plans, reflected ceiling and lighting plans, power and data coordination, millwork elevations, finish plans, and furniture plans.
04 / PROCUREMENT AND PROJECT COORDINATION
Managing What Happens Behind the Design
Approved furnishings and materials move into procurement, while the design documentation becomes a shared reference for coordination among the project team.
Luxe Style Studio communicates with architects, engineers, builders, trades, vendors, workrooms, and installers so questions can be resolved and the intended design remains clear as the work advances.
05 / INSTALLATION AND STYLING
Installation is where the individual layers begin to read as one complete interior.
Furniture, lighting, rugs, artwork, window treatments, and accessories are delivered and placed according to the design. Ashley oversees the composition and final styling so the home feels resolved rather than simply furnished.
Bringing the Home Into Place
06 / THE REVEAL
The Moment the Work Becomes Home
The reveal is not merely the end of a project. It is the first time you experience the home as it was intended to be lived in.
The rooms are complete, the details have been addressed, and the many decisions made throughout the process finally become one coherent and deeply personal whole.
The result is the residential expression of Ashley’s hospitality point of view: a home that feels prepared for you, welcoming to others, and complete from the moment you arrive.
“As a general contractor, we place a high value on collaboration, communication, and accountability. Luxe Style Studio excels in all three. Their attention to detail and willingness to problem-solve create a smooth experience for everyone involved.”

THE PROCESS IN PRACTICE
A Ground-Up Project, Carried Through in Full
Windsor Eye Care is one of the clearest examples of how Luxe Style Studio works. The project was developed as a complete environment, with the architecture, custom millwork, herringbone oak floors, furnishings, lighting, materials, and patient experience considered together.
Ashley developed the detailed interior design intent and coordination set for Windsor Eye Care, working alongside the architect of record, engineers, general contractor, and other project consultants.
Although the setting is commercial, the discipline behind it is the same one we bring to a home: establish a clear vision, carry it through every decision, coordinate the details, and protect the finished experience from beginning to end.
Thoughtful environments resonate wherever people encounter them. Windsor has become not only one of the studio’s proudest projects, but also an introduction to residential clients who experienced the space and wanted that same level of consideration in their own homes.
YOUR PART IN THE PROCESS
What We Will Ask of You
You do not need to arrive with every answer. You do need to be open about how you live, what matters to you, and the investment you are prepared to make in the home.
During the project, we will ask you to:
Share your routines, priorities, and concerns
Provide timely feedback at scheduled decision points
Approve designs, selections, and investment proposals
Communicate changes in scope or circumstances
Trust the direction once the design has been established

BEHIND THE SCENES
Some of the Most Important Work Happens Quietly
After the major design decisions are approved, there is often a period when the project feels quieter from the client’s side.
Behind the scenes, orders are being placed and tracked, drawings are being reviewed, details are being confirmed, custom pieces are being made, trades are coordinating, and installation plans are taking shape.
This stage may not be as visible as a presentation or reveal, but it is where much of the work required to protect the finished design takes place.
THE FINAL LAYERS
Where the Plan Becomes Home
Installation brings together months of design development, sourcing, coordination, and preparation.
Furniture is placed, artwork is hung, lighting is adjusted, textiles are layered, and the final details are considered in relation to the whole. What began as plans, samples, and individual decisions becomes an environment that feels complete.
The goal is not simply a finished room. It is the feeling that the home could not have come together any other way.
BEFORE THE PROCESS BEGINS
The Right Project Begins With the Right Partnership
The process is most successful when the scope, expectations, communication, and level of service are clear from the beginning.
