Real Floors

CORPORATE OFFICE MARIETTA, GA

A flooring company knows better than most that rooms are judged from the ground up. When Real Floors — a national name in its industry for decades — turned to its own Marietta headquarters, the standard was plain: the offices should be as considered as the work the company sells.

Arrival. Reception makes the argument immediately. Leather seating is arranged for conversation rather than waiting, beneath a gold chandelier that owes more to a hotel salon than to a front desk.

The company, on canvas. A hallway hung like a gallery carries visitors deeper into the building, and the collection is the company itself — each of Real Floors' locations rendered as a work of art. It turns a corridor into a quiet statement of reach, and there are no blank walls anywhere.

Where partnerships are made. The conference rooms hold the same standard where the company meets the people who matter to it.

Where visitors rarely go. The care continues behind the scenes, in offices the team is glad to spend a day in, a break room finished like the front of house and restrooms given genuine attention. A beautifully finished restroom is often the detail a guest remembers longest.

Around a working company. All of it was accomplished as a fit-out rather than a rebuild, re-imagined space by space around a business that never stopped operating. We managed the design process and worked in tandem with the trades so the client's only task was to keep doing business.

The headquarters now does for Real Floors what a flagship does for a brand: it states the company's standing in material form.
