The living room. A black leather sofa and an oversized brass drum table sit over a vintage Persian rug under the reach of a brass arc lamp. On the wall, a gilded bull skull presides over a gallery of animal art. Browns, reds, golds and creams hold it together in a palette with a faintly masculine cast — urban in its polish and indifferent to trend. These read as rooms assembled over years of good judgment, though every piece was chosen for this home.

The rest of the plan. The open kitchen and dining area keep the palette moving, so a compact floor plan lives as one continuous home. The primary bedroom turns inward — calm, grounded and layered for the end of the day.

From the first concept to move-in day, every piece here was Ashley's selection. It is a small home given the whole of someone's attention, and it shows.
