A bath can disclose a whole house. This one — serene and spa-like, in a four-story Buckhead townhome — is the room we are showing from a commission that ran from the basement up: the living and dining spaces, the kitchen and back bar, every bedroom, three full baths and a powder room, and the staircase stitching it all together.
The room. It makes its argument softly. A freestanding tub sits as the centerpiece, a black-framed glass shower draws one crisp line, a white vanity cools the palette and large-format tile quiets the floor. Nothing strains for effect — which is, of course, the effect.
